Re: Battery Drain

Need to do it ideally after the car has been 'doing it's own thing' for a few days. If it's been on charge all night the alternator will be seeing a fully charged (hopefully!) battery and may not then be giving out it's full voltage which is what we want to measure. Sorry, It was already on charge ...

Re: Battery Drain

Thanks, worth checking by the sound of it then. I've put the car on charge for the evening. I'll get these voltages posted up in the morning.

Battery Drain

I'm after a bit of advice please. I've long had a battery drain issue, I haven't really noticed as such, more that I was always shocked how quickly the battery would run down when the vehicle was not being used. e.g. only just starting when left unused during a 2 week stay in an airport carpark, or ...

Re: Replacement boot gas struts

Same here as well, I smacked my head on the rear door recently which made me realise it wasn't lifting as far as it should. (I normally park facing up a sloped drive which always makes it seem higher, so on a level road I did the inevitable and walked straight into it). As I recall the captive bolts...

Re: any Mac users here?...

I use the same software as for Windows, Handbrake. But when backing up the DVD set the iPad profile, or one that saves as an MP4 format. Once in that format they can be added to iTunes and downloaded to the iPad.

Re: Trump........

funnily enough, I agree with all the previous comments. Either I'm easily swayed or it really was about the wrong candidates making it through the process. One thing that seems clear to me is how similar it was to the Brexit vote. Esp in that although our vote had a higher percentage turnout, it was...

Re: Rear door (LH) no longer unlocks/opens...D3

I did this job on while a good few years back and did a step by step description on the process, either here or on the other side (I think there is now a full picture based walkthrough on the disco3 forum). It's not overly difficult, but does take quite a while - a good few hours (Bodsy might get it...

Re: Prague

I've never been to Prague, but everyone seems to like it. Sounds like you guys recommend it too. Most of my holidays are likely to be in motorhome from now on, but places like that for a short city break should be still on the cards. I'll start grooming SWMBO for a trip there, any recommendations on...

Re: Peterborough LRO Sept 2016

I'm gutted I can't be down there with you guys this year. First time in quite a few I've not been there. I was late seeing the signup, but also have some personal commitments to attend to (airport runs for family etc). Fingers crossed for good weather for you all. We've been lucky before for that, P...
