No, not really :whistle: . The form of the front bends on the plate are as such, we need to cut a 20mm section on the frontal area. When this is bent, the back of the cut is still 20mm but the front it 2mm. In order to have no gaps and be fully protective we though it best to fill the void. In the flesh it's not to bad, only looks worse on the highly polished guard. I'm getting mine down in the same coating as the alloys 8-)
