You'll be surprised how secure these need to be in the wind. I fitted mine the same way initially until the wind damaged the floor trying to pull the RivNuts out. Ended up using the lashing eyes and T Track to secure. Using the same method of securing for the Foxwing now

I thought you didn't get one on the group buy Jase?
In any case I'll see how it goes - if needs be I will reinforce the floor from underneath and bolt it on that way. I probably won't use it if it really windy anyway as I'd rather sit int he nice warm car on those days :lol:

I didn't, my old terrain one was exactly the same, that was on the Expo before the foxwing

Just met up with Dutchy, he now has his awning :thumbright:

These fit into the track on the rail, once the rubber insert is removed. These were M6 sized, so used standard M6 nuts and fitted the the brackets supplied with the awning.
I've just ordered 3 packs of these - hopefully that will be enough :lol:
