Shropshire/Wales Green Lanes 2/3rd July

Post by Hobgoblin » Tue Jun 14, 2011 12:06 pm

Hi All,

We are looking at organising a 2 day laning trip with a wild camp at a place called the lost lake on 1 of the first 3 weekends in July if this would be of interest to you.

Looking at leaving our hotel in Whitchurch, Shropshire at around 07:30 hrs Saturday morning after breakfast. Would then be heading off into Wales to pick up the lanes for the weekend.

We have 8 double rooms available @ £65.00 per room inc breakfast if anyone is interested in staying over.

Best regards
Paul

Hi Garry,

Thanks for your reply, at this time we have 3 weekends to choose from, just trying to gauge interest at the moment if any.

Regards
Paul

I would love to come, but I don't have any free weekends between now and the end of August!
I may be able to manage a day, depending if that is practical or not.

Camping is not mandatory, but the over night stay is off a lane, in the middle of nowhere, you could probably come for either 1 of the 2 days or both, meeting points and times could be arranged.

Club event? Open event or a private thing that has an open invite?

Sounds like a great weekend, but alas I am moving house at the end of the month so the dates don't work.

Any of the above to be honest :thumbright:
I am trying to keep it more for the D3/D4 as per the club.
Need to see what take up I get here and possibly post it up on the other side if not many here want to go.
I was trying to upload some photos of when we did it in the winter but the site wouldn't let me, I got as far as upload then everything stopped when I tried to continue to place them into the album
