Put my awning on the car this afternoon.

Pretty easy actually - though I need to get a couple more stainless nuts as I only had 6 :(

I also need some stainless washers to go between the plastic ones and the nut.

Any suggestions for the ends?

Any ideas for securing it on the car?

One of the nuts that I need to change.

Anyone using the Prospeed awning brackets with this awning...???

Or anyone think of a way to adapt the mounting of the awning...? Or will I have to drill out extra holes in the Prospeed brackets...?

Can you put the brackets on the other way up, and hang them off the end of the cross bars so the awning sits lower Mark?

Not sure that I can - I think it would be too near the roof - and would sit outside of the footprint of the car.

Plus at normal height, I can stand under it without hitting my head.

Obviously, if I was a short arse like JF Lux, being lower would be a positive advantage

I think it means that Gaz might be buying a prospeed.
Not sure, just my take on it.
