Awards for 2014 were announced at the annual Christmas meal and are as follows:



Avatar of the Year
Nominations are:
Well there was only one person nominated, they were nominated a lot, and I suspect foul play here, but the winner is…….
Winner is
The Stu in a Caravan Avatar!

Comedian of the year
Nominations are:
BenP, Bodsy, Anglefire
Winner is
Bodsy – for stitching Stu up in the avatar of the year award!

Mechanical Maestro
Nominations are:
Bodsy, BenP, Kingmav
Winner is
Kingmav for his gearbox flushing system

Photo of the year
Nominations are:
DSL Tipping, DSL Wheeling or Stu sat in a Caravan
Winner is
DSL Tipping

Technical Post
Nominations are:
No nominations in this category – just a single name was given
Winner is
Pillow Smuggler

Funniest thread
Nominations are:
Stu in a Caravan, Anglefire Drunk in the Pyrenees, Stu drunk in Texas

Modification of the year
Nominations are:
Gas Struts, IID Tool
Winner is
IID Tool in the Glovebox

Most useless modification of the year
Nominations are:
Dom Goldfish bowl light, Angle Fire Foxwing brackets, Anything DSL does, DCM Muff
Winner is
Dom Goldfish bowl, although it is suspected by many that he only did the modification to gain this award. Therefore it has been disqualified.
The award goes to DCM and his Muff – as he actually paid for it!

Off Road Event of the year
Nominations are:
Pyrenees, Salisbury

Pyrenees

Non off Road event of the year
This has been split into two awards, Pub meets and non Pub Meets

I think it's just simply the IID tool. Location of said item is somewhat irrelevant - as long as it is in the car.
