Re: Backup drives

I had a similar issue with one of my Readynas boxes, one of the HDDs was on it's death rattle and was generating so many ATA errors that the box slowed right down to a crawl - so much that I couldn't even use the web interface let alone access any files. After a bit of mildly panicked pondering I ya...

Re: Coolant Level

Thanks Dom! I was planning something along those lines, its probably inevitable that it will get a 'gulp' of air in one of the hoses in the process though - hence my reading up on bleeding procedures. By the sounds of it I just need to: - Refill the bottle - start car and let it get up to temperatur...

Re: Coolant Level

I had wondered about air in the system, i'll have a look on the web for bleed procedures and give it a go - thanks for the suggestion.

Coolant Level

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has come across similar issue to one i'm having at the moment. I've recently had a new fuel cooler fitted as some corroded hose tails on the old one were causing a slow coolant leak. Since the repair has been completed, I get a low coolant level message on the dash -...

Re: Speedo calibration

My D3 doesn't have the built in satnav, but I use an app called Waze on my phone instead. Your speed is just displayed at the bottom of your phone screen when you're driving. I think there is another screen that gives journey information like mileage, avg. speed etc so you could compare that to the ...

Re: Speedo calibration

I've got 4 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 265/70 R17 S (121) on mine, no issues at all so far and the dash speedo is closer to the GPS speed than it was with the factory tires on (which were quite a bit smaller).

Re: Codes, warning lamps & windows.

What message do you get on the info screen? If it happens after you've touched the brakes then that could point to the switch. Although I didn't get a bing when I had that problem. Otherwise try Dom's test (or pull the brake bulbs out and make sure both filaments are intact) to see if its that. Not ...

Re: Codes, warning lamps & windows.

Did the suspension light come on immediately or mid-drive? Any messages on the dash info display? Does it go away by itself if you cycle the ignition (after letting the car go to sleep)? I had an issue with intra-computer bus comms a while back that ended up being related to the brake switch. I beli...
