I have it sussed now guys after much investigation it is from a dash cam tucked away behind the rear view mirror.
Didn't have a clue the car had one fitted.

I recently purchased a 2006 Discovery 3 hse and every time i open the door to get in there is a stupid voice welcome that i need to get rid of.
There doesn't seem to be any mention in the books that I can see. perhaps someone on here can help me to silence this.
