Re: happy christmas

Merry Christmas to all in Disco3Club.co.uk. Best wishes from the south (of Europe) 1 o'clock here and I'm knackered. Had to work this morning, went for a walk in the hills with the family in the afternoon and have just finishing wrapping the kids presents, cleaning the kitchen and polishin...

The first one John.

You can get bits and bobs to "do it up" easy enough over the following months. Bodsy (being the forum "tight-arse") will help you keep the costs down :shark:

Re: Traction tracks

Sorry for dragging this off-topic, but am I the only one to have used the rubber floor mats (several times) to "unstuck" the D3?

I've used them quite a few times and it's worked a treat. They're also a lot easy to throw on top of the roofrack when dirty unlike my sand ladders

Re: Defender more hi tech than D3

I've looked at the latest up-to-date service information on TOPIx for the Defender and it says you need to perform a zero-point calibration procedure to the spindle motor. The BCU ECU needs to be put into service mode to ensure that any adaptive offsets are cleared before the procedure is carried ou...

Re: This EU Veto treaty stuff etc

Dom..very good  Stu - your first paragraph was spot on...almost as accurate as analysis as JF's :thumbright: But then your credibility went downhill....  Why should we have tougher rules placed on us when we are not part of the Euro. Like it or not, the Euro is the main operating cu...

Re: Traction tracks

I would just throw the rubber floor mats under the wheels and save 15 quid.

I don't think they'd survive being rolled over by a D3 and although they're cheap enough to be worth buying for a "one-off", the floor mats will do just as good a job :thumbright:

Re: Blacks in trouble

Blacks caters for the Chav market who want Berghaus and North Face as part of their 'uniform' Is this true? I know that when I left the UK "Chavism" was just starting to get popular  but it was with Burberry scarves and stuff like that. I've got a couple of high-end(ish) North Face jackets and...
