If I'd used that on the underside of the D3 I'm not sure how much would have been left!! :whistle:

Well, everything that was metal should be fine as it only converts the rust to vapour.

Though if you can afford the price tag I doubt you’d be doing up a knackered old D3 :lol:

Would have been good for lightening the old girl, there was a lot of rust under there. Mind you if you clean off the rust that just produces a nice new surface for the tin worm to start on. :whistle:

I'm not sure I'd want that going over my skin however as per the demo; that 1000w is going somewhere and I cannot believe it's all being reflected! I'd be worried about the percentage that made it through the skin to the bone/cartilage/tendons etc :shock:

It appears to be ideal as the first stage of a respray as it only goes down to the metal and no further; ideal for a classic restore I'd think. I haven't seen what it does to rusted chrome however; I wonder if it'd help or hinder.
