If I'd used that on the underside of the D3 I'm not sure how much would have been left!!

Well, everything that was metal should be fine as it only converts the rust to vapour.
Though if you can afford the price tag I doubt you’d be doing up a knackered old D3

Would have been good for lightening the old girl, there was a lot of rust under there. Mind you if you clean off the rust that just produces a nice new surface for the tin worm to start on.

I'm not sure I'd want that going over my skin however as per the demo; that 1000w is going somewhere and I cannot believe it's all being reflected! I'd be worried about the percentage that made it through the skin to the bone/cartilage/tendons etc
It appears to be ideal as the first stage of a respray as it only goes down to the metal and no further; ideal for a classic restore I'd think. I haven't seen what it does to rusted chrome however; I wonder if it'd help or hinder.
