Happy Christmas all - only had 8 (including us) for dinner - Turkey was from a new butcher as the old one retired last year - but happy to report it was fantastic - partly the cook (me!) but largely just a lovely succulent bird.

Merry Christmas all indeed :)
Anyone looking like they'll be getting any snow? Just rowdy weather here with lots of rain in it,so not much chance!

I enjoyed watching Harriet cooking some of the Christmas dinner. She took over the turkey and ask some of the veg as apparently you’re meant to toss them in seasoned butter just before serving, this sounded like a reasonable suggestion so I let her crack on with that. I mainly focused on spuds and awesome Yorkshire puds. MrsStu laid the table!

Just got back from my parents and its trying to snow here - which is a pain as my car is in for MOT tomorrow and had to switch back to summer tyres to get the warning light on the dash to turn off :headbang:

Well we dropped about 2"overnight but rain returned at 6ish and half melted it making it pretty nasty.

Mark, your timing Sir is absolutely amazing! Hope you get a good result!
