Wheel Nuts

Post by Dave_Harris » Sat Nov 01, 2014 9:11 pm

Anyone ever found a good alternative set of nuts for OEM wheels on the D3?
I'm fed up of buying odd nuts or small sets to replace the ever growing set I have. Unfortunately they are not 'ever growing' in terms of numbers but swelling under the steel cap.
What a pants design!!!
Would rather look to buy an alternative set if at all available?

Bought a load in ebay a while ago and they were as good as OEM in my opinion.
Btw I discovered last weekend that a 22mm BiHex socket fits my swollen nuts much better than a regular socket :thumbleft:

I also bought a load off eBay and haven't had any problems, they stay torqued up and haven't started to corrode yet, been on over a year now.

Well I'll start!
These are what I've been looking at but am not confident on the compatibility;

Does anyone have a link to any of the non-OEM ones they've purchased previously?

Has anyone any experience of these? http://www.lrparts.net/set-of-20-alloy- ... and-4.html

Looking to buy a set so I can replace the few on MrsC's car that have swollen and keep some spares.

The best ones I've found so far. Take a deep breath before reading the cost though.
