Prospeed Foxwing Brackets...

Post by JF Lux » Sun Aug 05, 2012 11:03 am

Who has the Prospeed Foxwing brackets? Is it Jason ?

It says on their website they will fit other racks. But the website isn't very clear on size etc. I'm thinking of getting a pair for the Eezi Awn. If someone has them, can I get some dimensions and maybe close up pics ?

I'm interested in the length of the base fitment; where the mounting holes are and how long the arm is from the mounting hole; and if the holes for mounting the awning are fixed to the Foxwing size or variable...

so from the pic, the mounting to the awning is dedicated for the Foxwing size...might be able to do something about that...

The mounting to the Foxwing is adjustable, as Ben did slots rather than specific holes. However the mounting plate is with holes for the Foxwing. I'm sure you can slot these or drill new holes.

What sort of pictures do you want Vinny? I have a bracket at home just waiting for the additional bracket for it to fit on the Mk 1 Prospeed rack.

Mine aren't for the foxwing, but will give you the idea if you just want measurements and some pictures.

Hi,I have just moved from my beloved d2 with all the bits to a d3. I now need to get it to how I like, rack, awning, draw unit and I am looking for some advice and ideas. I like the pro speed rack but don't like the big gaps and can't see the version with the mesh any more. I wanted to see pics of the fox wing on the rack to see how that fixes. Also I have seen a cheaper copy called hawk wing on evil bay, has any one seen them? Any idea or thoughts would be appreciated
