Ooh where's good for tea and scones in wickham? Yes, I ought to, what with scouts (and the obligatory planning meetings in the pub) , Go-ride cycle coaching, school gov and buying a cycle shop (and the day job) time is in short supply! Will see if I can make the next :thumbright:

Lily's is nice, the Old House hotel opposite does a great meal too and Kuti's round the corner does a excellent curry. It is a great village for food.

Dave have you cycled the old railway tracks ?

Old house hotel is good - Andy recommended that to me and I went there with a supplier for a lunch before Christmas.

Thanks all, lots of useful suggestions to replace lost carbs!!

I have cycled the track to East Meon a few years back with the boys. A good day out with a great pub lunch. These days it's road bikes and 50 milers, plus a few forays across the stream to cycle/test the grapes.

Strange how the more I cycle the more I eat..... Haven't lost any weight!!

First Thursday in May, May 1st! That was my original deadline for completing purchase of the business, but like all deadlines it will whizz past! Now aiming for 15th. (If I keep redefining success I'll be one in the end)

See you on 1st May, next decision G4 or RRSnort?

Cheers
Dave
