Megaflush news

Post by 4-Tech » Wed Feb 27, 2013 8:59 am

We have now added some enhancements to our Megaflush service.
First, we now offer and recommend the addition of Platinum ATF treatment at the time of a Megaflush. This product specially delivered from the States is one of the Lubegard range. I know of several owners who have used their Shudder fix treatment to good effect, well Platinum ATF treatment does all that Shudder fix does plus lots more and lasts for the lifetime of the fluid.
The Megaflush machine has separate system for adding this fluid at the time of a flush thus ensuring it all goes into the transmission without waste or spillage.
The cost of Platinum ATF treatment is £38 inc VAT.

Additionally we now offer the steel sump pan as a replacement for the original plastic type, this has a replaceable filter plus has the benefit of being substantially stronger.
The price of this fitted is £430 inc VAT (this does include the ATF used to refill the gearbox, but does NOT include a Megaflush)

Further details are now on our dedicated Megaflush website: http://www.megaflush.co.uk

Gordon,

At what point do you recommend the filter being changed?

Will you be selling the metal sump as a DIY kit?

Thanks,

Steve :hello:

We have changed them at about 120 - 140k on examination they don't appear to get really bocked, so I would say once over 100k it's probably a good idea to change.

No, won't be selling steel sump as DIY, it's taken ages for us to find them!

Not aware of that, we haven't been down that route to find them. I know that BMW cars have the plastic sump same as D3 etc.
