Silicone Intercooler hoses from BAS

Post by countrywide » Mon Aug 16, 2010 2:38 pm

As you know a few people have had intercooler hose failures. I spoke to Pete at BAS today and he is prepared to do a deal on his uprated silicone replacements for collection at the Peterborough show.

They normally retail for £95 inc VAT & Postage, but he will give the club members a discounted price based on quantity etc.

If you can indicate whether you are interested I can get a price from Pete and confirm a group buy. They are available in black or blue. There is one red one left in stock, which I think Phil would like.

If your not going to the show, you can still purchase and we can distribute via the club courier network.

I could be interested - I thought the normal retail price was 85 + postage (10 quid for postage in UK??)....

If I'm honest I've been thinking about it for a while as part of my "preventative maintenance" plan, but the cost was a bit steep to justify at the moment.

Is there any way to get an indication of the discount for club members or from the group buy (double discount for club members doing a group buy???) before comitting to the sign-up?

BTW - I'd like a blue one because I'm a bit poncy like that (as is Stu)

Paul's right - £85 inc VAT is the normal price exclusive of postage.

If there's a red one left in stock and that can be put aside for me I'll have it if not I'll have a blue one.

Shall I still register for a blue one anyway?

I think you should register Phil just so we know how many.

Regarding the price the £95 is including postage, so it's just stating what the current price is including the postage i.e. it's the same as advertised on the website. Andy has just added the hose and postage together to confuse people!

What's this about me being poncy - I'm the least poncy person I know (although I do know Neil so it's not much of a guide). Now bright yellow and I'd be there in an instant!

OK I've registered for a blue one (which means a red one!!)

Alisport have also been selling these for a while but their web site's being rebuilt at the moment so I can't check their prices etc. They're bound to be at the Shows though

Please sign up if your interested Paul, you only have to commit once we get a discounted price from Pete.

Phil I was going to put red as an option for you, but there is only one left and knowing my luck everybody would want one.
