Mine arrived today :thumbright:
Although I have only skimmed through the box of bits, I do wish that the instructions for these type of things actually matched what is in the box
Instructions do mention being able to alter the parking lines through accessible menus in the unit? Dunno?

They have no parking lines as they would not match up properly due to the offset of the handle. :thumbright:

I can concur that the lines don't line up - I have a blob of bluetac on the video screen to indicate where the ball is - as I can't see it with the camera :headbang: Can you with the HIDS one?

Not a happy bunny today, with HIDS4u delaying the dispatch of my order and now checking my parcel it seems the GVIF unit in the box isn't the one that I should have. There's no where for me to plug in the infa red lead so the remote contral is useless addition, and the toggle switch is a 2 pin plug and there is only a 4 pin one available.

I reserve my further comments once this is sorted, up till now not a good service

Double check your cable that comes from the big multi connector Jason. They changed the design so the infrared and switch cable are plugged into connectors fromthat and not into the main box. I think your looking at discobizz write up which shows it differently (its an older version).

Bodsy is correct, but you wouldn't thing to look at the mass of wires for more plugs. Plus the instructions don't show this, so upto page 18 they're useless

Like I said earlier, the instructions don't match the hardware :headbang:
Instructions say connect 'Rear-C' to the 12v feed, but 'Rear-C' in the actual loom is the AV to the camera, there is a grey wire marked as 'rear', does anyone know if this needs connecting to the 12v feeding the camera ie the reverse light power? If so, no additional wire is with it to reach the rear of the car.

PS Every page is page 18
