That's a bargain - shame I have already got one similar to that and have bought things like wratchet spanners separately.

Now, if they had been imperial wratchet spanners. I might have looked again!

Oh I yean for the day when they bring back gallons at the fuel pump. Save all that time converting it to work out the mpg

I still work in ' & " though do tend to also use mm.

We really should be totally metric by now. So frustrating that we still talk about buying 2"x4" timber that is 3m long!

And driver at an average speed of 40mph

It will take at least until our kids have kids before metric becomes the norm - I was taught mostly metric, but my dad in particular was imperial, so I also learnt imperial, my kids are mostly metric, but I still talk to them in imperial - mostly wind them up, but also because that is what I use - though still use metric for some things. Precision engineering still use imperial - its just easier to talk in thousands of an inch than decimal mm.

Just chuckled to myself as I ordered 17m of 5" Tourus skirting in the local timber merchant
