I’m afraid I have the unpleasant task of passing on some sad news.

Countrywide (Andy Page)

Passed away suddenly just before Christmas.

Andy was a big supporter of the club and was vice chairman for a period in the very early days. He also organised the very first off roading trip that I ever did. As well as being in the club Andy and I were both also part of the Hampshire Resilience Team and were involved in supporting local emergency services in bad weather.

This is a photo of Andy after he was given an award for his services.

He will be sadly missed, especially by those who attended the SAM and our breakfasts.

There is to be no funeral, there was an unattended cremation as per his wishes.

If anyone has any photos please do share.

No! Oh my, Andy was definitely one of the good guys. Very sorry to hear of his passing

Until I start getting beard benefit (and I don't just mean the way it velcros onto a poorly trimmed lady muffin) then you can all shove your child benefit up your collective wotsits :rasp: ND - 04/10/2010 10:28pm
