Since I joined the club (on 17th May).

I joined the forum on the 15th May 2010.

It's been a good 8 years - it is a shame the number of posts from both existing and new members has dropped off recently.

7 years for me.
I think of all the things that we have done since getting Bungle that we would not have done otherwise.
Trying not to think quite how much it has cost....

Bodsy is booked in for a transmission flush on Tuesday, so it never ends.

D4 going then Del?

If you don’t use them for their intended purpose - and by that I mean people carrying, towing etc as well as off roading, then there are cheaper alternatives or even normal cars.

The bm isn’t exciting in a lot of respects - though is very quick 🤪 but does do nearly twice as much to the gallon. Even my boss has commented on it.

Can’t see me getting another one though. Having said that I don’t know what else I would have.

Looking at doing some serious travelling once we’re down to zero dogs, which could be a few weeks, months or (if lucky) a couple of years. For the time we’re going to be away it would be nuts having a D4 sitting on the drive doing nothing. After that it could well be bangernomics, thinking of going all Wallander and getting an old XC70.
