best front spot lights

Post by Cosmo1 » Sun Oct 15, 2017 3:23 am

Purchased pair of the sim copy cibie driving spot lamps? Made bracket and eventually fitted the last week, what a let down, completely useless, they just light up nothing else. No discernible light on road at all. Switching my dipped head lights off I would be unable to drive on them alone. My latest adjustable led head torch is far more powerful. Anyway seen pair of led 72w on auction site at £37 and seem to be good spot lights for off road use. Any comments on this type of lamp or any recommendations please. Looking for good long range lights for coming over moor road at night to see any deer!

LED is usually far better than even the old rally style lights (that were great in their day).
Ask JFLux about his X-vision light cannons. 8-) 8-) 8-)

X-Vision Light Canons :thumbright: The only way to go for spots. Don't quite outshine LightForce LF170 HID's but the latter take time to light up. LEDs are instant on/off and no hassle of finding a place for the ballast etc. Plus LED take less amps to run.
