I know this is an old thread but if anyone is looking for a nice site in North Wales try Aberafon, Gyrn Goch.

Fishing off the beach, boat launch slipway with great views. Fires on the beach

I have spent 10 years at this site but now moved on to touring.

Not a good place to be in a tent when its windy unless you get a sheltered spot.
