God you lot are cruel...my sides are killing me laughing

Thanks Deano, it does look like it packs a lot smaller, but at first glance it does look like it's improved on the ozTent's head room at the expense of being able to lie down. I trust that's an optical illusion?

Well that is true, but I'd rather be in one of these:

Although I am currently sitting in one of these:

Dom, yep also more headroom and there is more than enough space to lie down in it  ... the pic doesn't really show how much space there is in there :thumbright:

You sure you would really be in that Stu? OK if your hiking somewhere and have to carry it around, but if you've got a D3 to carry it around in then surely it will be far more comfortable to have extra space and headroom, esp if it's lashing it down.

Nope, if it was lashing it down and blowing 80mph, there is no doubt, the Vango everytime. If I have the D3, it's nice weather then I'm quite happy with my Icarus and that has loads of space.

If Oz tent did an RV style tent that folded to about half as long I would understand it more.

I quite like that set up Dean, very impressive and it all makes sense now (selling the Oztent to Bodsy). If only I could afford it, still saving for the Foxwing
