Hey ,that was the car of my youth  ,I had 3 of em,and I'm still yearning for another ,in fact I was so close to buying one from eBay ,arranged to view it and on the morning of going to Bath to see it ,some Pratt walloped my trooper up the arse ,so I never made it that day .Later that week I was given a D3 SE as a hire car by Enterprise and that was my first experience of the D3 ,went to view the Capri...it was a stunner ,but also expressed my desire for a D3 after my drive to Bath ,so was told by SWMBO .....you cant have both ,so I chose the D3

i had a 3ltr Capri back in about 1987/88 - was evil in the wet, spent more time spinning up the back wheels and going sideways

But it went like stink :thumbright:

I had a Capri II 2.0 S, too much car for me when i was that age!
Ended up rolled in to a ball in a field with me trapped in it.
Later drove the 2.8i & a Mark1 RS3100. Now that was quick.
