Its funny you should say that, when i built the circuit to track the sun i tested it on the bench by moving a small maglite in front of it and it worked perfectly, i new i would have to adjust the sensitivity later. When i installed it on the trailer it didn't move for about two days, i thought it wasn't working, i was just about to take it off and start again when the clouds lifted and away it went.benp wrote:I am ..... just my luck to install it on the dullest week of the year.

My grandfather lived in Mayo and he always said if you don’t like the weather wait 5 mins and it will change
looks fab.. I understand if you don’t want to say but I am wondering how much it is costing

Re: Sankey Gourmet Kitchen Trailer Build
I have been a bit busy with work lately, isn't it just the pits when work gets in way with trailer building. also had to bring the misses away last week so she didn't divorce me !!
The weather here is still lashing down every day so its difficult to get anything done in between showers.
The latest additions are the teak worktop is installed and nicely oiled,The worktop lift up to allow storage of pots and pans etc. I have also installed the awning, the roof tent has arrived and is ready to go on just waiting on a dry patch to drill the holes in the roof.
I fitted the reversing camera and the wireless and web server device so i can see it on my ipad in the car.
Since my last post the trailer has been running on it's own batteries and solar panel, the two fridges are on and working perfectly throughout this, so it seems i got the battery/solar panel set-up just right, the trailer can be fully self sufficient power wise for weeks.
As usual pictures in gallery

Re: Sankey Gourmet Kitchen Trailer Build
Awning and tent fitted now, next thing is to have a test erection and see how it all works then next job is to fit tent and tent annex lights and dimmers.
I suppose at some time soon i should connect it to the car and check all the electrics etc.
not much left to do now, just a bit of fiddling with door locks and she will be ready for her first trip out. If we get the weather.
