I too had the fault codes on my D3. C1A13-64 and C1A36-01.
Research pointed me at faulty valve blocks and I was preparing for a strip and clean.
Then I came on this post and had a look at the compressor plug.
Woo Hoo!! it just slides in and out, with no clip what so ever.
2 cable ties and the cover back on and no faults.
