Just done a complete change of rear discs, pads & EPB shoes. During the Bedding in process the hand brake started to screech when applied. Drove it back in the garage and took it all apart to inspect only to find that the Shoes had disintegrated. These had been bought from Ebay & were supposed to be Mintex (fake I guess).
I bought some more from Eurocarparts and have fitted them but it still screeches when I turn off ignition & remove key (have not tried the EPB button yet nor have I moved the car as I don't want to destroy the module).
Can the module be reset? How? any other ideas? please help I now have no transport & the MOT is out.
