First post blues

Post by Byler » Mon Nov 12, 2018 7:50 pm

Sorey for this being my first post (I do honestly love my D3) but before I treat the disco3 to 5 liters of petrol and a box of matches;
Only had it 2 weeks and yes we love her!! Used special programs and she loged her self into permanent diff lock took it to my local indi who has recalibrated the transfer box clutch and seems to have solved it, but due to our budget being diminished thanks to purchase price and new air compressor hasn't stripped the t-box out or inspected further - has anyone had a similar issue.
We've been told the maunal gearbox is noisy should we bite the bullet and buy a 2nd hand gear and t box?
Thanks Steve

That’s a shame that you are having issues already.

Ben has a manual and can probably advise on noise - but I wouldn’t expect it to be noisy particularly. @benp

No the manual isnt noisy. prop shafts C.V joints are less expensive things in the drive line that could be noisy and worn out drop and replace the oils on the transfer gearbox and diffs and look for any issues with it would be me advice

Do you get any notifications Ben? If not it is either your settings in your profile are set to not have them sent out or your email is bouncing somehow.
