Hi
I have just acquired a used Discovery 4 with a LR070497 tow bar. This has 3 height settings. I would like to move the towing ball to the middle height. It looks like a 21mm bolt attaches the ball to the adjustment plate - can someone confirm whether this is the case? Also what is the torque setting when I refit the bolt?
What is the purpose of the green plastic part with a key?
Are operating instructions available?
Thanks
Harold

Re: Discovery 4 Tow Bar LR070497
Whatever fits is the right size bolt - 21mm sounds about right and yes you do have three height options. Not sure what the torque is off hand.
Green plastic key "locks" the tongue of the towbar into the receiver.
Yes there is a manual - I just can't find it - and it doesn't say a lot from memory just how to fit it pretty much.
