Hi Dan,

Do you mean you want some updates on your car or that you have a fault ate MSV2 and want to know how to do them?

I'll be in Salisbury at the end of the month if that helps?

Regards

Ian

Hi All

For anyone interested in how to fit the LED lights on indicator to the switch please see attached file. Hope this works as I am still working out how to post things!

I think the clock on the front dash is a great idea ,much better than having to look down everytime ,can the update be done to my 55 manual disc

Yes as long as you have the LCD display dashboard and still have the LR radio. :thumbright:

Monkey, that's a really clear write up :thumbright:

Gamekeeper - yes you can update yours - the IID tool allows a couple of options - with and without the FBH LED being the lights on indicator - which is something the above mod by Monkey gets around.

The fbh light was disabled in an early software update when they gave up with the idea that timed pre-heating using the fbh was not going to work.

In something light MY07 or MY08 they reassigned the FBH light as a lights on indicator, changing the symbol and colour of the led. Hence why if you update an early car to the latest instrument pack to get the clock on the dash, the fbh light lights up when ever the lights are on. But it is red which bothered some people. GAP have got round this by producing a special firmware to add the clock, but keep the red led off.
