Neil,
Still reckon NSN winching you out would have been better.

Kinda the same effect Mark but when he left we were still set up. Plan was to come home today but we left about 8.00pm to escape the hordes of tenters that arrived

Still did the same as NSN would have done but used a 10t tractor to do it!!

Sure thing Ian, here you go buddy:

Make sure you have the waterproof ones - some do not have the transparent silicone front cover. Also, some listings are just for 24cm not 5m - read carefully peeps!

I bought the ones on the link you posted previously, I hope I bought the right thing. I'll end up with two 24cm ones that are not waterproof knowing my luck!

My first thought was to flip the van on to it's roof as they slide much better on their roofs. Neil didn't was keen though.

I did tow start a Discovey once man moons ago. So what I hear you all say. Well the Disco 1 in question was towing a twin axle caravan and I was towing our van. We connected front to front and I reversed to give the tow start, and what's more it worked.

Guys,
Just have to say, thanks for a great weekend.

(and I was glad I didn't get bundled! In fact you guys missed several chances whilst Anita and I were putting up the tent.)

Looking forward to next year! :thumbright:
