North Devon Scenic Trip

Post by Neild » Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:45 am

Any one fancy a few days touting and camping in North Devon. Found a few nices sites to stay at and also I know many many scenic drives with stunning stop offs and walks. Couple with a few fords, rivers, pubs and general site seeing I can organise at least two or three days of activities/drives.

I've been going to this area since I was 5 and know it really well. Many hidden gems and awesome coves with lots of history.

If you fancy a trip like a guided tour/ proper itinery then sign up and we'll try and sort some days out.

I'd expect maybe 3 or 4 nights camping/tintenting from a central location. Perfect for families, the young and the old!

Neil

No idea yet Ian to be honest, might not even be till next year. It would be on or around school holidays though, so August, October week or next Easter. Depending on interest it will give me time to total the cost up of all the activities and get a full programme together. I dont have the time to go through it all now but I think it could be a great few days offering soemthing 'different'. Could even sort some lanes out that way too if people want a half day/mixture?

Sounds good.

If next year it could be extended to a 3 week period by 3,4 or5 people each sorting a few nights and things to do adjacent areas of Devon and Cornwall.

some folk may only do one area, others could make a week or 10 days and do a few. :thumbright:
