Top Banana!

Post by Bodsy » Thu Feb 09, 2012 11:46 pm

Well after nagging Ken for some MTR's that he managed to source for me, I popped I to his Mini/fezza garage 8-) 8-) to get them fitted.
He did think he'd have difficulty fitting the 19" to the 18" wheel I had on the front!

Anyway, Clive's 18" is now ready to make its way back to him and I'm sporting a set of expertly balanced wheels and MTRs. I've never seen anyone take so much care over balancing. Even unmounting and rotating a tyre round to get a better balance.
He had a few choice words to say about my previous tyre fitters balancing skills

I so say discodellboys alloys in storage (less the MTRs that I know have of course  )

Top job and I got to have a look around the defender which is looking very very 8-) 8-)
Those LED spots are top quality. :thumbright:

Cheers Ken for a great job :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

Sounds good Bodsy :thumbright:

I have to say, it is very likely that there are very few people that balance tyres like Ken - but it's a heck of a trip to get them done from here

Well I'm meeting Phil/Reggieb and not sure who else, but at the m54 services Friday afternoon (I think) so they've offered first choice, but anyone else who wants to borrow clives spare spare wheel is more than welcome
