Cover came off with a bit of brute force and the torx 50 bolt was no problem. Just got to get the ball joint sorted out now. :mrgreen:

Derek, the seat rail is aluminium and is a RLD ball. If you find not enough rigidity, then drill a pilot hole in both ball bracket and rail and it will be set like a rock.

Nice crumbs though, looks like plenty of McD's made that little lot :lol:

SWMBO's already told me to stop fiddling as I'll break it. She of little faith. Already moved the ball to mount the iPad in landscape. Not broken it, yet. :whistle:

I've got a Brodit desk mount that I'm planning on self tapping to the top of the dash. It's on my very long to-do list ;)

Haha, didn't I mention that? ;) in my defence I changed the winch rope hawse all on my own. Oh yeah and I've got a new phone charger to go in too. The whole thing should only take you a couple of hours ;)
