I was fine.

Went back in with around 20mins work to re-assemble, started and made voltage first time. Not bad really. Total cost was £95 for a recon unit, which I didn't think too bad. Has a 12 month warranty on the part too.


If you can't fix it with a hammer you have an electrical fault.
Longtime D2 TD5 owner, New D3 TDV6 Owner. Have Nanocom for both. Handy with a spanner.

Yep, going to try passing on the cost for the fan spanners to the warranty company, after all, I'm not charging them for labour...
