The connection to a D4 from GVIF unit to screen is direct to the rear of the touch screen via a ribbon. Alot of trim out to get to the rear of the screen..

Yes yes yes pal. I've noted the D4 GVIF can fit in a void behind the glovebox. It doesn't get hindered being there at all, but needs to be close to the screen cos of the ribbon attaching to the rear of the screen. Everything else to the camera is the same.
