Maybe you should sell them to Hids 4 U so they can update theirs.

The one thing I have never understood is companies not updating instructions, it's actually part of CE marking a product.

Personally I think that Scotch locks are the product of Satan and would not use them other than in an absolute emergency. Much rather splice in a new cable either by cutting in Lucar connectors or similar.

Other than that, looks a good start - though for completeness it would be perhaps worth showing how you gain access to the Satnav plugs. :thumbright:

I don't normally use them either, but space is a premium where I used them, to gain more access is to remove the top of the consul to reveal the innards. The good thing is I've secured them well enough so that if the connection fails it won't short anywhere.

Remember guys, its only a How to where discussions can be made to fine tune the install. Constructive critasism will ultimately lead to a perfect install.
