Group Faultmate enablement

Post by Bodsy » Tue Nov 01, 2011 3:51 pm

Hi All,

I'd like to offer a group Faultmate enablement day (or two) at a suitable location. Will make it cheaper for you and more worthwhile day out for me.

Is there enough interest to do this, please let me know your location/area of travel and what updates you would like.
Was thinking of Berkshire/Hampshire area
Midlands area
Maybe North if enough interest.

Think of it as a Christmas pressie for your D3.

Do you want the Blutooth to bring up the names and numbers from your phone on the radio display?
Do you want your SatNav to be able to allow you to change detsinations without you having to stop the car?
Do you want to have the modern day three flash indicators, like most other vehicles
Do you want to have the MY08 clock on your Dash Display as well as the light for telling you that your lights are switched on?
Do you want your reverse lights to come on when you press your landrover key?
Do you want 4x4 Info Screen enabled?
Do you want your Fuel Burning Heater reset and Purged of Fuel/(Free Smoke Show)
Do you want your Adpative Gearbox reset
Do you want your Transfer Box exercised/calibrated
Fault Codes read/Reset
Have you changed to/From Xenons and want them enabled to avoid flicker/Blown bulbs

These and other bits are able to be done.
The longest is the SatNav update at about 1hr 45 minutes, followed by Blutooth module update at about 45 minutes. I do have one module myself which can be swapped out to save time for someone instead of programming.

The other updates are generally much quicker.

If you don't have Blutooth, but would like LR Blutooth, then I can also fit and enable that (you need to buy the relevant bits). You just need Hi Level Audio with the MOST network. (think MultiCD player = OK)
This can be for the D3 or D4 Modules

Sign up is for Interest only until specific date etc is worked out.

Cheers

Ian

Of course, that's the point of doing it as a group to keep the price down.....

Was just a question.. nothing underhand. So members will get a better rate yeah?. That's great news for the club and it's members.

The Wife sounded like the Churchill dog as I read the list, so I could certainly be interested.

Cheers, Paul
