So far, so good!! Fitted the carpooterthinngamiebob and fired it all up. The beast, it lives!!

Had a bit of an issue getting GPSgate seeing the receiver but that was fixed once I actually plugged it in to it's place in the hub (all ancillaries through that so only power & connection to hub plugged into LT). MemMap read straight away, useful for overview of French roads on way down, and CompeGPS just needed pointing to its virtual port. Both MemMap & CompGPS run happily at the same time. :)

Have 1:50k for whole trip area loaded up and 1:200k for my travels after the look see. :thumbright:


If only I could think of something useful to type here!! :(

Just been doing a bit of surgery on the .gpx files, trimmed out the superfluous DESC data that clutters up the CompeGPS screen. Now just shows the WP symbol & number. :)


If only I could think of something useful to type here!! :(
