Sounds great, I hope you captureing the route on your gps!

I love hot springs, been in a few in NZ and they were great. I'd love to take the D3 to Iceland.

Trick with the ferry is to do it before the hideously expensive July & Aug, plus it's 800 miles from Calais to the ferry terminal. Loooooooooooooong boring road trip. :)

well i looked in September and its £1200 return. That's a huge amount of money. Way over what I could bring myself to pay for an off road jaunt. :?
