Dean, Mark's quiet, is he still with you? How are the cars, any issues?

gaz yep mark is here and all is well with the d3's ... A defender had engine overheating issues, a d2 had gearbox overheating issues and another d2 is probably on its way back home tomorrow on the back of a recovery truck with rear air suspension failure. John we are on our last night in the pyrenees now before the 2 day jaunt back up through france ... Our final campsite is in st llorenc but we went across to the med today to complete the west to east crossing ... And today was the first time we saw the aftermath of the forest fires ... You can still smell it in the air as you pass through the burnt out areas

Its quite impressive in a way. And yes, we got the same smell when we crossed the border.

on the way back through france now ... Passed over the millau viaduct ... Its quite impressive ... Stopped @ the visitor centre and bought a sticker to add to the collection

Yep, I'm hoping to come back that way when I return from the Pyrenees too

well i'll be crossing back into the uk tomorrow ... Its been a great trip with a lot of laughs along the way, fantastic scenery, many a drunken night, projectile vomitting of epic proportions on one such evening from an unnamed party and a close encounter with the spanish rozzers

What is it with the Spanish rozzers and the English
