I thought it was lightning I saw after after I drove away - not so sure now! :)

To be fair it's 24" rather than 34" which will be a lot easy to find a place to mount on the front bumper is have thought.
I went for the 24" because I wanted it to fit inside the A bar.

I am thinking of getting a couple of 18" ones for the roof but I still can't think how to mount them and look good.

I don't think cutting into the pro speed cowling will look good. In front looks naff (IMHO - Sorry John). About the rack on a cross bar is the option I keep coming back to but I am worried about the noise. I'm also not prepared to chop my prospeed up like Richard did.

Look forward to seeing them at RIAT, though be careful in case an aircraft thinks it's a landing light illuminating the runway.

If only I could think of something useful to type here!! :(

I kind of agree Stu, I also don't know what sort of additional noise that could lead to with small 'whistling' gaps in the cowling.
I'm leaning towards having the bar on a bracket that will pivot down behind and back up when needed.
I'd just secure it with locking pins though, I won't try anything fancy and motorise it like you've suggested previously :shark:

I only want it mechanised so that when some oik decides to be an oik I can give him the full lightbar treatment. If I have to stop then that sort of loses something in the moment!

I have thought about going the other way and just having a bar that clamps on when needed.

I can see this being a discussion point next weekend!

Yeah a detachable solution would work equally well for me tbh.
So long as I find a suitably IP rated socket

Which I am still struggling on for the led strips on the roof rack. All the ones I find the right size are not weather proof, all the ones that are IP rated are huge!

I think two lights in the rack will look better than 1 big one. Although it will probably cost a little more and not put out so much light. I want it to look good though.
