Re: Adjustable roof rail mounted work lights
Put them on 2 old aerial mag mounts.. Can keep them in the back and just put on whichever side (or rear) when needed!
The ones I put on the LR Drive Team D4's were fitted at the front and rear of the track each side so do not interfere with the roof rails as the locking slots for the rails do not go that far, so they are never in the way.
Must say I have used my side worklights more since fitting them a couple of months ago than the roof mounted lights in four years..

Re: Adjustable roof rail mounted work lights
I still might do that Rich; but if possible I want to completely get rid of loose wires.
It simply might not be possible/sane but I thought I'd at least explore the options before I bought a roll of curly flex

Re: Adjustable roof rail mounted work lights
I run the wires up the trim behind the rear speakers, under the trim with the rear interior light in, out through the rubber grommets that go to the tailgate, (hole made with screwdriver, not knife) then up under the plastic trim on the rear of the rack and run them to the front on the inside edge of the track / glass, the wires almost fit under the track. I then run a bead of black silicon all the way along holding the wires in place. You would struggle to see they were there.
I have 5 pairs of power cables and 7 coax's running up!

Mines a mess!
The Drive Team vehicles only had 4 power leads, 2 along each side so not to bad. I'll get some pic's when at Gaydon next.. Would not want to post a pic of what mine looks like!

Re: Adjustable roof rail mounted work lights
Most of mine running to the front are hidden under the floor of the prospeed so just loose.. It's a bit hectic where they go through the grommets, I'll photo that for you!
