RRS power seat into D3 (non power seats)
Hey,
Got some nice seats
Passenger one buzzing away all fine
Need to bypass memory module on the drivers side and you end up with a pulsed 5 second or so movement at a time apparently.
I don't know how to do it!
Can anybody help me please? Pictures, text or help me do it?
Cheers dudes!

Cheers, but he went for more recent chairs into a D3 with less existing wiring than mine. Mine is a lot more simple - still doesn't mean that I know how to do it though!

'Afraid I haven't seen this done, so no clue where to start to be honest.
Do you have a compatible socket/harness ready under the seat to plug the seat into?
Could you not sell the complicated drivers seat and use the funds to buy an electric passenger seat from a left hand drive? That'd leave you with just positive and negative to connect, although you'd lose some of the adjustments the drivers seat has.

Re: RRS power seat into D3 (non power seats)
As you've seen in my Gallery I changed the switch pack and wire loom not to expensive from TLO, the wire diagram is similiar on pre 2010 seats, did you speak to Simoniz if I remeber correctly he did not fit a switch pack?Dave wrote:Cheers but no, I want the full adjustment on the seat base not just height. Re: RRS power seat into D3 (non power seats)
Just waiting on Simoniz. As far s I am aware he was still using the switches that came with the seat. Even by changing the switches and loom through TLO I may get movement but would lose the rake adjustment on the seat base I believe.
