Post by anglefire » Fri Jun 22, 2018 7:43 pm

Bit late notice on here, but today and tomorrow and Sunday, Landrover are doing a Fest in Solihull.

Should be a good weekend for it.

Thanks Del!

We had a good couple of hours there - though was quiet - probably because 22 overpaid kids were kicking a ball around a field. Well 11 anyway.

Even got your car there Del @DSL .

And one similar to Clives. @CDS

They were playing Cars 2 on the big screen a few times a day - and I have to say the Screen was fantastic- it was in the sun and no issues seeing the picture.

The woman with the mike in front of the screen with the book titles on is the author and illustrator. She also read out the one book of the Defender production line when it was about 2weeks before closure.

The "barn" find was there - looks in good nick considering. Shame they didn't keep with the ali chassis.

Ooooo, I do like mine. :thumbright: You don't have to gift wrap it.

Not sure it would be that good for what I'm up to atm. Just done 1,800 miles over the last 4 days, in that I'd certainly feel my weary bones in that. :thumbright:

Bugger.

Wished I’d seen this earlier. Could have gone to that.
