I'm going to guess that it may be optimistic - purely from a charging capacity (Of the traxide kit, rather than alternator) but depends on ratings etc.

Did you get the sc40 or 80? If 80, then no problem. I have the FPC kit which has an Anderson connector at the towing sockets. I have another cable I connect from that to a mounted Anderson on the trailer. Which is connected to my tRailer battery. I use a 115ah gel battery. No need for a yellowtop as I wanted more capacity than the 55ah they provide.

Behave, every pikey transit tipper bed has a pin hitch on it!

Anyway, if anyone needs help with buying a Sankey from MOD Sales I live about 12 miles from them, so can assist in delivery/ meeting if required! :thumbright:

The biggest drawback for me on a Nato Hitch, and after checking................The AA will not collect them anymore apparently. Knowing the D3's reliability, I would'nt want a trailer stranded in the UK.

Cheers for that Ian, I have the Sc80....

Sounds like an Anderson connector for me then.

Or am I being unrealistic.

Use yer exising tow plug socket (12s) and get £9.99 thing from Maplins or anywere to split charge it :thumbright: Simples
